Information for teaching the AHA PALS Course on an initial or renewal basis, including classroom-based and blended-learning options

Description

IVE (International Version English) is the preferred and accepted format for International English-based training. All AHA Distributors should sell the IVE version of a product. If the IVE version is unavailable, then defer to the English version. IVE training materials have been updated to include metric units of measure and other global references that do not apply to students in the USA and Canada.

Important note about the IVE PALS Course:

  • There is no IVE PALS Instructor Manual in print format.
  • There is no IVE PALS Course Video. Instructors should use the U.S. English PALS Digital Video (#20-1114) while instructing this course.

This IVE Instructor Manual eBook includes essential information that AHA BLS Instructors need to teach the IVE PALS Course.

  • Updated to reflect new science in the 2020 AHA Guidelines for CPR and ECC
